How to Qualify
In order to participate in Tower events, you must be registered for the MPN (https://play.metazoogames.com/) and participate in a sanctioned event. The qualification period for each tower will be unique. Check the individual tower pages for information on how to qualify for each tower.
Special Rules
Spellbook requirements
A Caster’s Spellbook must consist of at least 60% of that Tower’s Aura, not including Terra or Aura Pages. Dual aura cost pages are included in this calculation.

For Example: If a caster is participating in the Water Tower with a 40-page spellbook containing 8 Water Aura Pages and 2 Terra. A valid Spellbook must contain a combination of 24 Water Beastie, spell, or artifact pages, 8 Aura pages, 2 Terra pages, and 6 additional pages of any Aura.
The Prize Pool
Each Tower event has a cash prize of $50,000. Each Tower event will also have exclusive merchandise, such as pins, a plush, jerseys, and many more items!
Placement prizes for each tower are as follows:
Tower Caster (1st Place)
- $20,000 Cash
- $30,000 in MetaZoo Products
- Travel Expenses Covered
- Tower Caster exclusive trophy, hat, jersey, promos, playmats, etc…
2nd Place
- $10,000 Cash
- $15,000 in MetaZoo Products
- Travel Expenses Covered
- 2nd Place exclusive trophy, hat, jersey, promos, playmats, etc…
3rd Place
- $5,000 Cash
- $10,000 in MetaZoo Products
- Travel Expenses Covered
- 3rd Place exclusive trophy, hat, jersey, promos, playmats, etc…
4th – 8th Place (Top Cut)
- $1,000 Cash
- $2,000 in MetaZoo Products
- Top Cut exclusive hat, jersey, promos, playmats, etc… (This merch prizing also goes to the Tower Caster, 2nd Place, and 3rd Place.)
9th – 32nd Place (Top 32)
- $500 Cash
- $500 in MetaZoo Products
- Top 32 exclusive hat, jersey, promos, playmats, etc… (This merch prizing also goes to the Tower Caster, 2nd Place, 3rd Place, and Top Cut)
The Tower Caster
A single Caster can become the Tower Caster for more than one Tower. Becoming a Tower Caster has, but is not limited to, the following benefits, that stack where appropriate:
- Cash prizes and exclusive swag and merchandise
- Top Cut access to Caster’s Cup
- VIP Access to all MetaZoo events
- Access to an exclusive private Discord channel
- The ability to choose Casters to create a MetaZoo sanction team of 4 other Casters
- Tower Casters and their team must defend their Tower each year in the following Tower event from which they won.
- In order to face Tower Caster, starting in the 2024 Tower series, Casters must first compete against the other 3 members of the sanctioned team in the event’s Top Cut.
