So you are interested in playing the MetaZoo TCG? Great! Here are some ideas and resources to get you started!
First off we have the Local Game Store. Great for supporting a local business, purchasing products, and hanging out in person with the local crowd. Start here with MetaZoo’s Store Locator and check to see if there is a shop near you selling MetaZoo.
After you have an idea of shops in your area joining the Official MetaZoo Discord is a must! Up-to-date announcements about products, gameplay tips, deck build talk, and players looking to connect and play a game!
As you get into playing you’ll want to check the MetaZoo Play Network regularly. Shops holding play events in a variety of Formats will post them here. Casual, Competitive, Peodo Environments, Sealed or Constructed. Online Events will also be posted. Some Shops and Partners hold Webcam or Tabletop Simulator Events through Discord. Sanctioned (Judged) events will be posted that can qualify players for the Tower Competitive Events!
Until the Official Digital MetaZoo TCG Client comes out later this year, many players have chosen to play online using the PC game Tabletop Simulator (TTS). The community has made a variety of game boards and has uploaded most of the cards. The game can be found on Steam and the mods are free.
Online Learn To Play Events are held weekly on the MetaZoo Partner Immortal Workshop’s Discord!
Finally, we have to mention that the MetaZoo Games website holds the most up-to-date Rulebook, Rulings, Erratas, and Tournament Rules for the game. If you get into playing competitively it is imperative to have at arms reach.
