Descending on the town of Point Pleasant, West Virginia is the Mothman Festival!
Along with it is MetaZoo’s Competitive TCG Tournament Series.
The Dark Tower event will be held at 612 Main St, Point Pleasant, WV 25550.
Saturday, September 16th, 2023 – Sunday, September 17th, 2023
Event gameplay and coverage will be available on MetaZoo Games’ Twitch Channel!
MetaZoo is expected to have a booth outside of the Tower Location with products and promos throughout both days of the Festival.
Artists: PONCHO, Afton, and Jett will be available for signings.
Tower Promos will include the “Dark Tower” promo (Left) and a Full Holo Dark Aura Card seen in the Merch Bundle below. The “Dark Tower Construction Begins” and “Dark Tower Completed” cards are expected to be handed out amongst the top 32 players as well!
Festival Promos are to be the Mothman and Point Pleasant City Terra cards shown above (Right). These are available at the MetaZoo Games festival booth. It was stated that Merch Bundle orders picked up by Partner Stores at the event may include these two promos as well.
The Dark Tower Mech Bundle was available on the MetaZoo Marketplace for from 8/9 – 8/11 as a pickup-only item for the event. Partner Stores were given the ability to pick these up as well for remote customers. The cost was $170 and it included a spectator ticket, as well as the items pictured above.
For the first time, MetaZoo is demoing their Alpha build of the ‘Cyptid Clash’ Online TCG Client! Exclusive in-game items are to be awarded to casters who participate in the demo event.

Tower Terras: The following Terras are considered active and cannot be affected: City, Dusk, Farm, Full Moon, Nighttime. All other Terras are not considered active, but may be played and affected. All Terras will receive a x1 multiplier, including the ones listed above.

- It is the month of October.
- You hear real coyotes howling at night.
- A real wooden canoe is within eyesight.
- A real sentry box is within eyesight.
- A real preserved corpse is within eyesight.
- You are in a woodland at night.
- You are in the Great Smoky Mountains.
- You are playing by a real church.
- You are within 1 mile of a human-made tunnel.
Additional Page Effects Active:
- Pages named Mothman enter the Arena Awakened. This means that Mothman is affected, but Chibi Mothman is not.
- Black Mass will always Bookmark 4, regardless of how many Beasties you Destroy.
