MetaZoo gave the community the first look at the second iteration of the MetaZoo Content Creator Medal. The art for the Content Creator Medal was first shown on February 15, 2022, depicting a Hopkinsville Goblin posing for an Instagram post with its medal. This first Content Creator Medal, featuring a Bunnyman posing outside its tunnel with a Silver play button, has been retired.
To qualify for the Content Creator Medal, creators needed to apply for the medal on a form that was released on March 1st, 2022. The form allowed casters to sign up for many different kinds of medals, such as the Diplomat Medal, Patreon Medals, Tournament Medals, as well as Content Creator Medals. When applying for the Content Creator Medal, the applicant was required to provide evidence of content creation by providing links to their social media accounts as well as screenshots.
The Influencer Medal was not on the list of Medals that casters could apply for on the form. MetaZoo has announced that Live Poke Auctions is the first Content Creator to receive the medals and will receive both the Influencer Medal and the Content Creator Medal, suggesting that these medals are 2 tiers of the same Medal family. This is further hinted at by the flavor text on the Content Creator Medal. The Content Creator Card reads “Look at you! That thing you’re doing… keep doing that! Very cool. So cool. Keep it up!” hinting at creators that are making MetaZoo content but still have room to grow. Once they do, will they be rewarded with an Influencer Medal? Only time will tell!
