The 2022 MetaZoo Fan Art Competition is finally coming to a close with the Finalists being announced on the MetaZoo Discord and across social media platforms. We saw a glimpse of some of the semifinalist previously.
No word yet as to what the final product we look like as artists prepare their art to be sent off to MetaZoo. It will take a while before MetaZoo has them all in hand and can start and the production process. It was event hinted in a comment by Mike W. that they may use semifinalist work as well. The set may feature the Finalist in full holofoil and the semifinalist in a non-foil card alt art variant.
To enter Artist submitted an image of their art and a redeemable 2021 Fan Art Bookmark promo card with their application. These will be returned in all who entered the competition at a later date.
