“…I want to announce a very special medal (MetaZoo Crafter Medal). It’s one for members of our community that have contributed in major ways to the creative world that is MetaZoo. We are only printing 100 of this card and will only award it in special cases. Many of you elected @Raincoat… | cryptidfm.com, a community member who has contributed majorly to the musical world of MetaZoo, as the first recipient of this medal (it is still on its way from the printer and will likely only arrive this summer). Join me in congratulating @Raincoat… | cryptidfm.com for everything they’ve done for the community!”

Raincoat… has been awarded the Patreon, Kickstarter, and Influencer Medals. As well as multiple Content Creator Medals. They have released 12 albums across 8 platforms. Raincoat… – Linktr.e

Raincoat’s Story –

“So back in the day right after Kickstarter had ended I started making music for MetaZoo unofficially. I was making a song that encapsulated each beastie. While I was doing this I was involved in the community a ton, to the point where the Metazoo team made a music channel. I was primarily the one who used it to post new beats that I had made before I posted them on Spotify and such. With this community engagement, I was sharing the songs with content creators and streamers, and even the Metazoo team themselves. Lots of people started using them and I was even given the spotlight during the early day TTS tourneys. They would have (my music) playing in the background and downtime between matches.

The community started rallying together and asking Mike to make me a medal or in some way involve what I was doing within the brand. Very shortly after I logged onto Discord and saw an announcement involving the art for the Crafter medal and thought it looked so cool. The very next day I was tagged in an announcement saying I was awarded the first Crafter Medal for all the music and Lofi esc videos I was making and contributing to the MetaZoo world.

After this, I started putting my music onto CDs and selling them, as well as pressed some one-sided clear vinyl. I had Seb’s wife paint on them so you can in theory see the art while it is on the player itself. All this to say the MetaZoo community had my back and loved what I was doing. I started putting out all that I could and branched off into different directions as I saw fit.

It was a magical time and I would not trade it for anything. I was also gifted the Content Creation Medal because I was posting videos about Sam as a sort of background to my songs and an Influencer Medal due to the presence I had shown throughout the community. I was even included to trailblaze a big celebration for the first edition MetaZoo release date, worked with a ton of artists to make this really cool video happen, and called it the Big7 project. I even worked at a convention table with the team and artists a long time ago and helped them hand out promos and CDs to folks who knew who I was.

I had 12 albums released in about a year’s time, and I have released 2 music video playlists on my YouTube. The platforms I have my music posted to are as follows: YouTube Music, Spotify, Amazon Music, Apple Music, iHeartRadio, Pandora, SoundCloud, and iTunes. You can also find my music on social media to use in posts like Instagram, Snapchat, and TikTok. Raincoat… – Linktr.e

I’ve been busy as heck with my new job, graduating college, and moving this past year. I am going to get back to dropping bangers and pick up where I left off last year very soon!”
