Tickets to the Salem release event for the Seance Release Event are limited. As with the Roswell Release Event for UFO, tickets are free. With the Roswell event, sign-ups went live and casters were required to register for a seat at the Release Event. With Salem, due to how limited the event will be, MetaZoo has opted to give out tickets to Salem via multiple contests and bounties. It is unclear at this time if tickets will be made available outside of the contests.
At this time there are 3 ways you can get a ticket to the Salem Release Event. You can enter the Costume Contest in the #costume-contest discord channel. Finalists will be chosen on October 7th, 2022, and will have a chance to win 1 of 10 tickets. A second way to secure a ticket is to enter the pumpkin carving contest in the #pumpkin-carving-contest channel. Grab a pumpkin and carve a MetaZoo-themed pumpkin for your chance to receive 1 of 10 tickets on October 13th, 2022. Finally, if costumes and pumpkins aren’t your things, anybody that pulls an Old Scratch on camera from a Nightfall booster box between now and October 20th, 2022 will receive a ticket to the Salem event! Be sure to include the date of your recording on a piece of paper in the video to qualify.
The last weekend in October is always busy in Salem, Massachusettes; a town known for the Salem Witch Trials in the late 1600s. Salem is a tourism hub for all things spooky that time of year. As such, be sure to plan your accommodations accordingly and allow extra time for travel to and from Salem.
